In the beginning, Gannon created chaos and misery. A little fairy, named navi, was summoned by the Great Deku Tree. When she got there the Great Deku Tree told Navi about his sickness and his close demise. He told Navi that she had to tell a young Kokiri boy, Link, that he had to save the world from Ganon and his evil plots (and if it was possible to try to save the Great Deku Tree)! So Navi hurried as fast as her little wings could carry her. She told the young Kokirian boy. He set off to the Great Deku Tree. He had to go inside, that's right, go INSIDE this huge tree and find whatever looked unusual (which a lot of stuff down there did). After solving some puzzles and fighting some monsters, Link found Queen Gohma, a nasty looking parasitic armored arachnid (with a name like that, you know it must be nasty!). Of course, our hero prevailed. When he returned to greet the Great Deku Tree, he found him dying. Before his last breathe, the Great Deku Tree gave Link the Siritual Stone of the Forest, the Kokiri's Emerald! But, just after giving Link this beautiful emerald, the Great Deku Tree perished. Link later found out that the Great Deku Tree's demise was the work of Ganondorf, the fiend who is to blame for all the horrible creatures, nasty monsters and just plain mean bad guys in the future. All Link can do now is walk two steps forward and one step back, because what lies ahead is much worse then Queen Gohma...
