After Link destroyed him Volvagia, the King of the Gorons came and thanked Link for killing the beast. The Goron then appeared to Link as the fire sage, and gave him the Fire Medallion. Just leaving from Death Mountain, Link heard that the next temple was the Water Temple. He, then, headed for it. This was the most tedious temple yet. It was like the Fire Temple, because it had so many keys, but it was confusing, too. There were three levels to it. The bottom, the middle, and the top. But the only way to get to them was to raise and lower the water level. Along the way, he met Dark Link. He did every move link would do... almost every move... Anywho, he finally got the boss key and challenged the boss. Link gazed around the room. There was only a pool of water in the center of the room. He saw a small rounf red ball in the center... *SPLASH!!!* Morpha appeared to Link. But it wasn't what he expected. Morpha was just a ball that could control water. After some intense battle and Link getting thrown around a little, Link prevailed. "At least the next boss won't be as scary as this one", Link thought to himself... Link was wrong. Terribly, terribly wrong...
