Fact: Zelda was put into a crystal in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time by Ganondorf as a "prison". Guess he couldn't afford a jail cell. Heh, heh... I know, crappy joke. Or maybe he just thought a crystal would look cooler than metal bars...
